Sadly and unexpectedly, Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi had a miscarriage losing her baby in her fourth month of pregnancy. The singer had experiences severe pains in her abdominal and once she sought medical assistance she was informed that the baby she was carrying was dead and she must have an immediate operation to have it removed.
Amal and her husband Mohammad have one child a boy named Kareem, who is one year and a half. The couple is very sad over their loss, for they were hoping for a sibling for Kareem. Amal is to remain in hospital for a few days until she regains her strength and there are no complications.
Amal was very disappointed that the news of her being in the hospital was quickly spread over the internet. The singer’s official page on the social network Facebook was swarmed with ‘get well’ wishes only hours after her miscarriage.
