Back to the top with her latest album and after a successful duet, Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi is still conquering the music market with the high figures her album "Zaman" (The Past) is making.

Al Riyadh daily newspaper recently reported that Hijazi's "Zaman" album is still breaking figures in the music market all over the world. "The album is going beyond expectations in numbers of selling, and I'm so happy that I was able to hit back again strongly after performing the duet with Faudel," Hijazi happily commented.

"Not to puzzle people, I'd stick to one style in all the music videos of this album. I admit that due to the many styles I adapted last year, I was less known in my previous album 'Aakher Gharam' (The Last Love)," Hijazi said in response to the criticism she faced with the multi-styles she appeared in.

The twelve-song album, produced by Universal Company in Paris, held two major surprises, the first, her duet with Rai singer Faudel, entitled "Einak" (Your Eye), written by Faudel and Tony Abi Karam, and the second with the duo Omar and Rafi.

Amal Hijazi is an architecture Engineer, but never worked in this field, saying that she is "dedicating all my time to music, for it needs lots of time and hard work." – Albawaba.com
