Don't believe everything you read on Twitter! Amr Diab doesn't actually have strong public opinoins on the new amended Egyptian consitution. If you'd read his account earlier this week, you might have thought otherwise. The Egyptian superstar was a victim of account hacking!
Immediately after discovering someone gottent their sticky fingers into his Twitter account, Amr posted a message on his official Facebook page confirming that his Twitter account was hacked, assuring that the posts do not reflect his political opinion and that he respects all parties that aim at reconstructing Egypt.
Celebs like him gotta keep things PC after all!
According to Laha Magazine, the company "Al Hadma", which manages his account on Twitter has sent out an apology to his fans and assured them that they are working hard on retrieving the account back from hackers and requested of all his fans to not post any tweets on his account until the matter is resolved.
With Tamer Hosny now steeping into his "Rotana" territory, he's got to do everything to keep his reputations squeaky clean to prove he's the man on top.
In addition to keeping his real opinions a secret, he's also kept the filming of the song “Wa Hia Thikrayat” (And it is a Memory) under cover to keep it from being leaked before its big release during his Valentine's Day concert.
