Egyptian superstar Amr Diab has been working his ass off for the past few months to release a fabulous album for his fans, only to have some cheeky pirates leak it all online!
Sales of his album will definitely be affected now, as fans can listen to the songs online for free, rather than go out and pay to listen to their favorite singer.
Other factors affecting Amr's album were the current tragic conditions taking place in Egypt.
Due to those factors, Diab was forced to release it on ITunes three days before its due date to avoid any further losses.
The album's production company, Rotana, is currently intensively investigating the incident to discover just how the album was leaked in the first place.
Nonetheless, the album has been downloaded over an impressive 150 thousand times from the moment it was leaked. Amr has not yet made any official comments regarding the matter.
Ah well, from the number of times the album was downloaded, it's obvious that fans loved it anyway!
