ALBAWABA - Angelina Jolie wants to leave LA.
According to reports, amidst the ongoing drama surrounding her divorce from Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie is growing more and more irritated with her life in Los Angeles and is keen to leave the city.
Her children's reluctance to leave the area they have called home, however, has seriously hampered her intentions. To exacerbate the situation, the star of Maleficent was disappointed when she was not nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Actress for her eagerly awaited return movie, Maria, which was based on the opera diva Maria Callas.
"Angie is unable to leave Hollywood quickly enough. She has done a lot of humanitarian work in Cambodia and Europe and would want to start over somewhere else.

Jolie's intention to leave Los Angeles is opposed by her six children: Maddox, 23; Pax, 21; Zahara, 20; Shiloh, 18; and the 16-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne. "Angie thought the kids would want to accompany her, but she didn't realize how attached they are to LA, where they have friends and want to start their own careers," the source told the newspaper. They went on to say, "They just don't find the idea of leaving all the opportunities in LA to live overseas appealing, and it's causing serious tension."
Jolie has been working on the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation, a nonprofit that supports the area, on a sizable piece of land in Battambang, Cambodia. The actress has been really focused on the project, which has made her want to move even more.
"She has dreamed of having a family compound with all of her children there for years," the source revealed. Unfortunately, now that kids are old enough to have goals and aspirations of their own that differ from hers, things have become quite problematic."
The source claims that Zahra is in her third year at Spelman College in Atlanta and that the other children live with the actor full-time, refusing to change their minds about the choice.
