Meanwhile, in the Arab world rumors were escalating that Egyptian actress Laila Elwi had died in Africa.
That's so not true! Laila is alive and kicking, whereas a French-Moroccan photographer with the same name sadly isn't.
'Laila Elwi the photographer' was shot twice in the recent attack on a hotel in Burkina Faso. She died of a heart attack after being taken to hospital.
RIP, Laila.
