The Arab world lost its collective mind again today—this time over yet another actress somehow expressing her knowledge of sexuality.

Egyptian actress Shaimaa Saif was playing a game on her show “Thalatha fii Wahad” (Three in One), with actor Sherif Madkour. The game, entitled “My Bride,” has each contestant drop vague hints on the nature of an unknown something to the other contestant, hoping to make them figure-out what it is.

Saif, attempting to describe a red pen, gave a wink-wink description of it, stating it was something “red,” “non-dry,” that it “closes and opens,” and that “every girl has one.” The description caused Madkour to laugh out loud and viewers to respond angrily.

Why? Because Three in One is a family-oriented show. But we get the feeling that the uproar over the innuendo, despite how misguided that innuendo was, gave more attention to the matter than the innuendo itself.

Let things go, people.
