The 67th Annual Emmy Awards, a celebration of television's best and brightest, took place in Los Angeles last night.
All eyes were on the glittering dresses, with Arab designers continuing to have their moment in the spotlight.
Allison Janney, star of the West Wing, took home the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series award for her role in "Mom". She was the only one to take on the 'naked' trend, with a sheer and sequined black dress designed by Kuwaiti house La Bourjoisie.
Janney beat out fellow nominee Julie Bowen of "Modern Family", who joked on the red carpet "If I don't get some press up here, he might not give me another dress!" Referring of course, to Georges Chakra, whose black gown with futuristic straps helped her to stand out in a sea of starlets.

“Orphan Black” star Tatiana Maslany wore a white suit from French-Moroccan brand Bouchra Jarrar, which she paired with a bare chest, while Homeland's Morena Baccarin looked stunning in a classic red Reem Acra gown.
Game of Thrones' Queen Cersei herself, Lena Headey put that naked walk of shame behind her as she dazzled in an elegantly beaded, plunging berry gown by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad.
TV Fashion Police and E! News host with the most Giuliana Rancic also went for Arab beading with her intricate off-the-shoulder pink dress by up-and-coming Lebanese couturier Ziad Nakad.
As Bassem Youssef hosts the International Emmy Awards in November, we're hoping to see an even bigger show of Arab talent on the stage and on the red carpet!
