Palestinian star Mohammed Assaf is a true Arab Idol.
It's been a long time coming and now the young singer and UNRWA Regional Youth Ambassador for Palestine is starting his own charity to help and support youth in the Middle East.
While the charity will kick off its activities in Palestine, it will later expand to the rest of the region.
Assaf says that his charity will be named after him and will not solely focus on supporting Arab youth in the arts field, but in all other fields as well.
Assaf is well aware of how lucky he was to win Arab Idol; his life was instantly turned upside down (for the better) and he has since emphasized how important it is to encourage young people to follow their dreams.
He's also immersed himself in charity work ever since, while continuously stressing the importance of helping youth to realize their life ambitions.
