Prominent Syrian singer Asalah Nasri has recently completed recording the songs for her upcoming album, which is scheduled for release in the very near future. The album will mark Asalah’s fourth Khaligi (Gulf) album, where she worked with prominent poet Prince Abdul Rahman Bin Musa’ed, poet Saoud Sharbatli, and prominent Saudi singer Mohammad Abdo. Abdo who composed her lead song entitled [Awkat], Asalah thinks that this cooperation is beneficial for both parts because both singer have his own fans and it will be a great opportunity to combine those fans to enjoy her song.

Many other gulf singers had tunes for Mohammed Abdo but this is the first time that he gives a tune to singer which he did not sing before and that’s why Asalah considers herself special and different than all the singers who cooperated with Mohammed Abdo before.

Asalah has revealed that she intends on shooting two new music videos for the songs “Alkak” and “Took Li”. The singer stressed that she will not include any form of nudity in her clips, which has become the trend with all new music videos. She added that she is against singers who use women in extremely revealing outfits in their videos to gain more popularity, referring to them as low class.

The singer has created a new association in Paris under the name of “Al Iffa”, which aims at fighting nudity in music videos and using women as objects to gain fame. The association calls for women to be more conservative and respect their bodies.

Thousands of women have joined the association and are attempting to make a wake up call to women throughout the world to stop displaying their bodies in music videos, magazines, and any other forms in the media. Asalah stressed that she wanted to express her anger through the association towards women who appear practically nude in music videos. Asalah added that a woman should consider her mind as her most valuable weapon and not her body, which beauty is only temporary
