The Syrian superstar was simply trying to thank Egyptian singer Angham for the fabulous gift she had gotten her, but little did she know that her Instagram photo would cause this much controversy.
Assala posted a snapshot of the sandals Angham had gifted her along with the caption, "The sandal that dear Angham got me. It smells like candy and it's so comfy. Happy morning to you Angham."
There's nothing wrong with the caption, it's the fact that Assala hadn't shaved her legs before taking the picture that got her followers' attention.
