Famous Lebanese singer Assi Helani has turned down his special invitation to take part in the annual Morex De Awards ceremony.
The ceremony took place at Casino Lebanon, and he was to be honored for his achievements during the past twenty years of his singing career.
According to Laha Magazine, Assi informed the organizers of the event that he would not be able to make it due to the fact that he is on a family vacation in Paris.
On a different note, Assi is preparing to launch his latest music video for the song "Widi Ya Bahr", in which he recently filmed and played the role of a sea captain with director Arman Ghazara.
Assi also announced that five of the songs to be released in his upcoming album, are written by famous song poet Nizar Francis.
