The entire world knows that American megastar Janet Jackson is expecting her first child with her billionaire Qatari businessman hubby, Wissam al Mana, but the 50-year-old singer's ex-husband, singer James DeBarge, now claims that they've a secret daughter together.
In a newly released clip from WE TV's Growing Up Hip Hop, when confronted by his daughter Kristina about an article she read in which he discusses the claims, the 53-year-old tells her, "I'm tired of the secrecy."
"I'm tired of the truth not coming forward, and people being a coward when it comes to it. And I thought it was wise for me to speak out now because it needs to be addressed," he adds.
"To be honest with you, I didn't know," he continues. "I was under the impression that there was no baby, and I wanted to believe it's not true. But it is."
Neither Janet nor her press office have responded to the allegations.
The "Doesn't Really Matter" singer eloped with DeBarge in 1984, but the marriage was annulled in 1985.
In other news, Janet and Wissam recently announced that they will be naming their baby boy after the late King of Pop, Janet's brother Michael Jackson.
