The actress Basma started filming the second season of the television sitcom “The Clinic” in Cairo, Egypt.
The series is about a clinic managed by three doctors, a gynecologist played by Edward, a psychologist played by Khaled Sarhan, and a dentist played by the actress Basma. The actor Suleiman Eid plays the role of the nurse after Muhammad Sharaf has to turn down the role due to health problems.
According to the London daily Elaph, the series is directed by Rami Imam, son of the famous Egyptian comedian Adel Imam, his first television sitcom. The sitcom is also directed by Amr Arafah, Amr Qourah, Majed Majdi, and Fadel Al Jarhi.
The new sitcom includes a number of stars, like Egyptian actors Ahmad Al Saqa. Ahmad Iz, Hani Ramzi, Ahmad Zaher and Sameh Al Saridi appeared in the first part of the series.
The series was written by Muhammad Hamad and is produced by ‘Final Cut’, ‘Al Karmah, ‘Promo Media’ and ‘Media Line’.
