Syrian actor Bassam Kousa is back in the traditional Syrian drama game. The renowned actor is making a comeback to our screens with a new look in a brand new series.

The star is confident that his new project is a masterpiece that will witness significant success in the Arab world. “Qamar Al Sham” (Syria’s Moon), will air on MBC this month, and you can be the judge of whether it’s fab or crap!

But what makes this drama so different to any of his past ones? Bassam says it’s the fact that he’s never played such a character before. We wonder what’s in store for us!

The enthusiastic actor was super excited after reading the script, that he couldn’t say no to the role.

There’s also the small fact that Mohammad Khair Al Halabi wrote it and Marwan Barakat directed it, which made Bassam feel that this is one masterpiece he couldn’t miss out on being a part of.
