"Celebrity Duets" is a competition show which pairs an established singing star with a celeb from outside the music industry.
The fun begins when the unprofessional 'singers' must give it their all in order to win a large sum of cash, which they get to donate to one of their chosen charities should viewers vote them as the winners in that episode.
Syrian actor and director Bassem Yakhour will be one of the contestants to test his vocals on the MTV show.
Meanwhile, the stage will be christened in the opening episode by Lebanese superstar Najwa Karam.
