It's definitely not all about the fame for Bassma Boussel, who decided that marrying Egyptian superstar Tamer Hosny in 2012 was much more important than a career in music.
Maybe if Bassma had it her way she'd still be behind the mic, but her hubby's pre-marital condition was loud and clear: No to a life in the spotlight!

Singing wasn't the only thing Bassma said goodbye to at the time; she deactivated her Facebook account three years ago as well.
But looks like the Moroccan starlet is back on the social network, after announcing her return to FB on Instagram. She did however assure her fans that this sudden comeback has nothing to do with returning to her music career.
"After 3 years , back to Facebook i will not sing again so people won't understand it in a wrong way , this will be a page just abt me , and soon u will get to know y i reactivate it , not abt singing at all NooooT SINGING," Bassma wrote.
Hmm, we're curious as a cat. What could she possibly have in mind?
