Billie Eilish sparked a feud with TikTok star Bryce Hall after her shady remark at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards.

Billie Eilish, the award-winning singer of "What Was I Made For?", caused a stir at the 2024 People's Choice Awards with her apparent shade at TikTok stars.

The 23-year-old artist, who won four awards including the TV Performance of the Year for "Swarm", was caught on camera making a remark to Kylie Minogue about the social media influencers and creators who attended the event.

According to some lip-readers, Eilish said: "There's so many ... TikTokers here." She then rolled her eyes and looked unimpressed. The video of the moment quickly went viral on Twitter, with many fans praising Eilish for being "real" and "honest". Some also agreed with her sentiment that TikTok stars are not artists and do not deserve to be at the same level as musicians and actors.

However, not everyone was amused by Eilish's comment. Bryce Hall, one of the most popular TikTokers with over 50 million followers, slammed Eilish for her attitude. He tweeted: "Billie Eilish is so rude. I'm so sorry that I didn't bow down to you. You're not better than anyone else. You're just a singer. TikTok is a platform for creativity and expression. Don't hate on us for being successful."

Hall's tweet sparked a heated debate among his fans and Eilish's fans, with some defending Hall's right to be at the awards show and others accusing him of being arrogant and disrespectful. Some also pointed out that Eilish herself started her career on SoundCloud, a similar platform to TikTok.

Eilish has not responded to Hall's tweet or the controversy surrounding her remark. She did, however, thank her fans and fellow artists for their support and inspiration during her acceptance speeches. She also performed her hit song "What Was I Made For?" live on stage, earning a standing ovation from the crowd.
