ALBAWABA - Bradley Cooper has reportedly asked Gigi Hadid's mother, Yolanda, for her daughter's hand in marriage.

The star, who is 50 years old, reportedly asked the model's mother, who is an expert on reality shows, for permission to propose.

Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper have been doing well together since they were first seen after what looked like a trip to New York City together in October 2023.

Hadid dated Zayn Malik, a singer in One Direction, from 2015 to 2021. They had a daughter named Khai before going public about their relationship.

At the same time, Bradley Cooper shares his daughter, Lea De Seine, who is eight years old, with his ex, the beauty Irina Shayk.

Now, Hadid and Cooper are said to be getting serious about taking a big step toward getting married in 2026 and raising their kids together.

The Daily Mail reported that a source said, "Bradley Cooper wants Yolanda to know how serious he is about Gigi and how he plans to build a solid family with her in New York."

The story says he has also talked to his mother about the plans. Hadid is said to know that a proposal is being worked on and has talked to her father, Mohamed Hadid, about it.

The person added, "There was no question that we would do it since Yolanda was on board." But Gigi saying she wants to marry Bradley to her father is a big step; it's more legal this way.

This comes after Hadid sparked rumors of an engagement when she was seen wearing a band on her ring finger while partying for her 30th birthday earlier this year.

In a past interview with Vogue, the mom said that dating Cooper made her experience of starting a relationship “normal.”

‘Bradley has opened me up to going to the theatre more, and that’s something that’s so nice to bring back into my life,’ she told the publication.

You should try to have a regular dating experience, but even my non-famous friends find that difficult. Where are you going? And then?' Do you just begin speaking to others?

She continued: ‘I think just getting to the point where knowing what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential, and then finding someone that is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve.

‘You [can] both do work separately to come together and be the best partners that you can be. I just feel really lucky. Yeah, lucky is the word.
