THE DUBAI CELEBRITY Smash hosted by Iconic Events is coming. The event will be an annual sporting attraction featuring multiple sporting activities such as golf, karting, paintball, volleyball, football, rugby, basketball and many more, with local and international celebrities at the helm.
Kicking off on October 16 with the Dubai Celebrity Golf Tournament, the star-studded event is designed to bridge the gap between UAE sports lovers and international performers while shining a light on local charities and foundations.
One of the charities that Iconic is working with is the Make A Wish Foundation UAE - an organisation that grants the wishes of children living with life-threatening medical conditions.
Ten celebrities have already confirmed their participation in the golf programme, including Hercules himself Kevin Sorbo, Hellboy's Ron Perlman, Miami Vice's Don Johnson and Dennis Quaid (pictured) from Frequency.
The rest of the celebrities for the golf programme will be revealed during Eid al-Adha.
The long-term goal of the event is to promote health and fitness in the UAE through celebrity endorsements and one-on-one interaction.
