Burak Çelik has officially signed on for a new television project after wrapping up his role in the hit Turkish series Yeraltı. The actor, who portrayed Volkan in the popular drama, is moving to Kanal D's highly anticipated new series Haysiyet, which continues to expand its star-studded cast ahead of production.
Produced by Süreç Film, Haysiyet is among Kanal D's biggest projects for the upcoming television season. The drama has been making headlines recently as new cast members continue to join the production, which is currently in its final preparation stages.
According to Turkish media, Çelik will play Tarık, a key character in the story. Tarık is the son of Haluk, a central figure portrayed by acclaimed actor Reha Özcan, making the father-son relationship one of the important dynamics viewers can expect from the series.
The move marks another busy period for Çelik, who is also appearing in TRT Tabii's historical drama Nizamülmülk Altın Çağ. His addition to Haysiyet further strengthens an already ambitious ensemble cast assembled by the production company.
