Amr Diab's television drama "Al Shuhra" (Fame) has had its fair share of ups, downs, and changes. After being postponed an entire year from the 2014 Ramadan drama line-up to that of next year's and various artists turning down starring roles, one thing is still consistent: Bushra will be in it!

The Egyptian actress was rumored to have been nixed from the cast, but she's vocalized to the region that she will still be rocking our screens coming Holy month 2015.

She is anxiously waiting to begin filming her scenes in the drama and thinks it's totally silly that people are making up such gossip.

According to Laha Magazine, the show's production company stated that it has the utmost respect for Bushra and has in no way removed her from the cast. The company added that the remaining cast in the drama have not yet been announced, and they will be revealed once filming the first scenes is launched.

Scenarist Midhat Al Adel has placed the final touches on the script for Amr Diab's first drama about a young singer who has two children and leads a quiet yet successful life until everything changes when a young woman is murdered. He is accused of killing her and is sentenced to life in jail, but he sets out on a quest to prove his innocence.

The drama will be directed by Rami Imam and produced by Tamer Mursi.
