Canadian singer Marcel Alexis will perform Dalida's most renowned songs at the Alexandria Opera House Theater, during the Alexandria International Song Festival's closing ceremony on October 23, along with Lebanese singer Wael Gassar.
Alexis is known in Europe for loving late singer Dalida and performing concerts in her honor in Parisian theaters.
The Alexandria International Song Festival is being held between October 18-23.
Alexis told AFP she was happy to visit Egypt where Dalida was born and became famous.
