ALBAWABA - American rapper Cardi B (Belcalis Marlenis Cephus) is the talk of social media after commenting on the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, which resulted in the killing of thousands of Palestinians.
With the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza nearing a year, Cardi B took to her official social media accounts and wrote:
"I want a ceasefire. I want a peaceful treaty between Palestine and Israel. I want a peaceful treaty. I want innocent people to stop dying, that’s all I want. If that can happen, I’ll support anybody."
She added that she would not endorse any president unless a ceasefire was implemented and wished for innocent people to stop dying.

Cardi B hinted at current elect Kamala Harris who recently replaced Joe Biden after he announced stepping back because there's a chance she might commit to peace efforts in the Middle East, as reported by Roya News. Several users took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and voiced their opinions about the matter:
"An educated queen! The only female rapper to speak out on the issue," while other users hinted that rapper Cupcake also donated to Palestine.
"We Stan Cardi for actually using her platform, unlike other celebs."
"Her first spill, I love how outspoken she is about this issue."

Hamas announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel making it the biggest offensive by the group in decades.
Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip, captured military bases, and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel while others were seen paragliding into occupation territory.
In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Since October 7, more than 39,145 have been killed by Israeli airstrikes across the besieged strip, more than half of whom are children and women, the Ministry of Health reported. Additionally, 90,257 Gazans have been injured, with injuries varying between mild and severe.
