When she won the first season of 'Arab Idol', it looked like nothing could hold Carmen Suleiman back from taking over the world. But the Egyptian starlet told reporters this week that fame and fortune is not all it's cracked up to be.

Although the talented songstress says she loves having fans, getting famous 'took away her freedom' too. Carmen is still only a teenager but has been hitting the charts hard with her post-'Idol' tracks.

In fact, the starlet was so young when she first won the show that she had to go back to school and graduate before her parents would let her go on the road.

The Egyptian beauty says she's not done with school just yet and intends to go to college and study journalism. However, in the meantime she has been in the recording studio and will be putting out new track, 'Kalam, Kalam' (Talk, Talk) very soon.
