It’s the most expensive video clip ever made by superstar singin’ celeb Carole Samaha that’s getting all the attention right now. The music vid produced by ‘Rotana’ took Carole and crew to the deserts of Cairo along with a whole throng of 500 peeps in participation for "Wahshani Biladi" (I Miss my Country).
That’s some love of country for the songstress!
According to Laha Magazine, the clip’s theme tackles the idea of uniting the region to face the tragic events going down, all in search of freedom. Carole wore a black scarf to show her mourning over the conditions in the Arab world.
While the song composed by the late legend Mohammad Abdel Wahab, may be a national one, Carole insists that the lyrics written by Mohammad Jum'ah and distributed by Jan Marie Riashi could be listened to anywhere, especially with the large number of refugees that are forced to live outside their countries.
After allegations that the song was stolen from the heirs of Mohammad Abdel Wahab, Carole claims that is just nonsense, assuring that the rights of the song are totally legit.
