Linda Saffire and Adam Schlesinger’s documentary ‘Restless Creature’ paints an intimate portrait of prima ballerina Wendy Whelan, the principal dancer of the New York City Ballet. The film follows as she prepares to leave the company after a record-breaking three decades, highlighting her celebrated career, from performances in ballets by George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins to modern choreography by Christopher Wheeldon and Alexei Ratmansky.
