After a two year absence from the music scene, Lebanese singer Claudia Al Shemali returns with a new album set to hit stores very soon. According to the London based Elaph, Claudia features a variety of singing styles in her new album in an attempt to reach her listeners all over after being away for so long.
One of the songs in her new album is a Khaleeji (Gulf) song written by poet So’ud Al Sharbatly entitled “La Yakhda’oonak” (Don’t Let them Trick You). Claudia has not yet chosen a production company to record her new album, however it is also believed that the new album will be financed by her personally.
Claudia gave no explanation for her long absence and commented that she plans to move back into the music world, promising to deliver a new style that matches the modern Arabic-music trends. –Albawaba.com
