CNN aired a documentary about the singing of career Egyptian singer Mohammad Munier naming him the singer of peace. Munier's songs send a message portraying the political and social views of his people.

According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, CNN said that Mohammad deserved the title as a singer of peace after the release of his last album, which called for peace around the world.

CNN also noted that the singer is proud to have had the opportunity to sing in nine different movies for the great Egyptian filmmaker Yousef Shaheen, and was in fact regarded as the cinematic voice of Shaheen. CNN added that Munier follows the philosophy of individual worth in life and in fact he stresses to take on roles that attribute to self worth of a person in any film he acts in.

Munir has recently completed the preparations for his new album "Ahmar Shafaif" (Red Lips) which consists of eight songs written by prominent poets, with the hope of releasing it early February.
