ALBAWABA - Irish mixed martial artist Conor McGregor who was once considered the world's highest-paid athlete recently made headlines after he and his family were linked to the Kinahan cartel, one of the world's most feared gangs, as reported by The Daily Mail.
The Irish Kinhahan Cartel is responsible for many organized crime activities including drug trafficking, money laundering, murder, arms trafficking, extortion, and blackmailing. The organized crime crew has also been accused of 20 murders across four countries.
Conor McGregor linked to Kinahan cartel amid rape accusations
According to the BBC, McGregor also recently made headlines after being accused of "brutally raping" and attacking a woman named Nikita Hand at a Dublin hotel in Dec. 2018. Moreover, Conor McGregor will need to pay £206,000 in damages to Hand.
McGregor who has four children with his fiance Dee Devlin denied the claims made against him by Hand.
The cartel's leader, Daniel Kinehan who once was an Irish boxing promoter and an advisor to an advisor to Tyson Fury has a whopping $15 million bounty on his head in reference to all the organized crime activities his gang is allegedly responsible for.

According to The Daily Mail, McGregor is linked to Kinhahan because of his sister and media personality Aoife who is dating Graham 'The Wig' Whelan, an Irish criminal part of the Kinhahan Cartel.
