Celebrity footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has made a grand entrance into the YouTube universe by launching his own channel and posting a series of movies documenting his personal life and his relationship with model Georgina Rodriguez.
With 14 million subscribers in under 16 hours, Cristiano shattered all previous records set by YouTubers in the last several years. The video that brought him and Georgina together had around 10 million views. Just hours after creating the website, Cristiano received the golden shield from YouTube!
At the time of writing, Ronaldo, who is 39 years old, has over 17 million members on his new channel, and the 19 videos he uploaded on his first day had over 40 million views.
In his first day on the worldwide video-sharing platform, Ronaldo's channel, "UR Cristiano," gained over a million subscribers in under two hours, earning him the YouTube Gold Shield. Then, in just seven days, he broke another record by surpassing ten million subscribers.
