Egyptian actress Dalia Al Buhairi was severely distraught after being delivered news of her ex-husband’s death on Monday. Dalia’s ex was the father of her only daughter.
Businessman Farid Al Murshadi passed away after being involved in a horrific car accident in Egypt. Farid was renowned late actor Farid Shawki and late Prominent Egyptian actress Huda Sultan’s grandson.
Speaking of the tragedy, Dalia said: “Police are currently investigating the accident and I will find out who’s responsible for it. Our daughter was in a hysterical state after hearing the news. She was extremely attached to him.”
Farid’s mother, producer Nahed Farid Shawki, said that her son will be buried next to his father today in the “Farid Shawki Cemetery” in the city “6th of October.”
This was the actress’ second marriage: the couple were together for five years before quietly getting divorced last April. They’d kept a civilized relationship with one another for the sake of their daughter.
This must be extra heartbreaking for Dalia, as it wasn’t long ago that her firstborn daughter from her first marriage tragically died of a rare disease.
As hard as it may be for her to say, Dalia stated that she did not wish her daughter had lived longer with the disease because it was inevitably fatal, and she was in too much suffering.
