Diana Haddad celebrates her victory in Egypt

Lebanese singer Diana Haddad has won the Annual Lion’s Award for ‘Best Female Arab Singer for 2006.’ She will attend the awards ceremony in Egypt on February 11 to formally receive her award.

 

Music channels ‘Nogoom’ from the UAE, ‘Melody’ from Egypt, and the Lebanese Broadcasting Company will air the singer’s latest music video for the song “Adi” (Normal). The clip was directed by Laila Kan’an and was filmed in Lebanon.

 

According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Diana narrates the clip that tells the story of a love affair between a married couple.

 

Diana has returned to Dubai after performing in Germany. The concert was a success and drew a large number of local Arabs. 

 

After Germany, Diana then traveled to Kuwait upon an invitation from the Kuwaiti FM radio station to be a special guest on the popular program “Lail wa Nujoom” (Night and Stars).

 

Before the show Diana held a press conference, in which she addressed the rumors which claimed she was banned from entering Kuwait due to her inappropriate style.
