Lebanese singer Diana Haddad has filmed a music video for the song “Ana El Insan” (I am Human) from a previous album, in support of Lebanon during the ongoing Israeli attacks.
Nahla Al Fahed from the UAE directed the clip that was filmed in two locations. A group of children took part in the clip carrying Lebanese flags and posters that read “No to war.”
According to the London based Elaph, Diana said the clip is show solidarity and support to all Lebanese people who are in agony as a result of the war. She chose the song since the lyrics depict human suffering.
The ten minute song will be aired on the Dubai satellite channel.
Diana postponed the release of her upcoming album "Diana 2006," until the World Cup 2006 Championship had come to a close.
Diana’s duet, "Mas wa Loulou" (Diamonds and Pearls) recorded with Algerian singer Cheb Khaled, for “Diana 2006” has been witnessing tremendous success.
Diana held a promotional campaign, including numerous performances around the Arab world starting in Cairo. A signing ceremony is to be held at Virgin Mega Stores in Cairo.
Diana filmed the music video for the duet under the direction of Laila Kannaan, who will also film the second video. Diana has yet to select the second song, waiting to see the initial reaction of her fans.
The album, produced by ‘Alam El Phan Production Company,’ was postponed before due to a serious car accident Diana suffered. The album features nine songs sung in various dialects.
