Jennifer Lopez didn't want to give her Dinero singing partner Cardi B any advice when she was pregnant.
That's because the 49-year-old Grammy favorite - who has 10-year-old twins Max and Emme with Marc Anthony - thinks that advice can be annoying, she toldMusic Choice on Wednesday.
'When we were doing the video and she was preggies, I was just like, "Are you good? Do you want to sit down?"' said the World Of Dance judge. 'That's what [new moms] need — they need a little pampering. Take care of them. No advice.'
Cardi B welcomed daughter Kulture Kiari with husband Offset on July 10.
When making Dinero several month ago, the Shades Of Blue star was mum.
'I would not give her any advice,' Lopez added. 'Just see if she needs anything — "Do you need water?"'
Jennifer was pregnant 10 years ago with her twins and she said she was not happy with all the free advice shoved her way.
'When I was pregnant and everybody was like this and that, I was like, "Please just stop telling me all these things. Can I just figure it out? I kinda want to figure it out on my own,"' she said.
'I know I'm not going to be perfect, but let me just do my [thing],' she added.
'Everybody has so much advice for you.'
This comes after Jennifer said that her kids and Alex Rodriguez's daughters Ella and Natasha get along great.
She also told WKTU’s Cubby And Carolina Bermudez they're one big happy family.
'The four of them are amazingly special kids. I mean of course I'm going to say that cause I'm their mom, but they are and they're sweet and they're loving and they deal with us and our lifestyle in such a great way.
'And they love each other, they get along so good.
'We couldn't have asked for more... that stuff can be tricky sometimes and I think a lot of people understand that, and I've had other relationships where it's been tricky but with these four it really works nicely.'
As far as her romance with the former baseball player she said it's nice.
'I think we're both in a good place in our lives. And I think maybe if we would have met in our twenties, maybe not so much.... we were both... we're too crazy,' she said.
'But now at this point in our lives where we both have kids, we both have accomplished certain things in our careers and we're kinda in that second act of our lives, we really compliment each other.
'It's like where I need help, he's really strong and where he needs help I'm really strong. When two people kind of just fit together really well. He and I are like that.'
