ALBAWABA - Rap Mogul 'Sean Diddy' Combs has once again made headlines after filing a whopping $50M defamation lawsuit against defendants Courtney Burgess and Ariel Mitchell, and NewNation, alleging that they fabricated lies for profit, as reported by People.

While Diddy still remains behind bars after facing sex trafficking charges, he's expected to take part in his trial which is scheduled for May 2025. In Diddy's defamation lawsuit which was filed by his attorneys on January 22, the American rapper claims that his reputation was tainted and harmed, adding that it will affect his chances of a fair trial in May.

The rap mogul is currently awaiting his trial in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center and is facing charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and engagement in prostitution.

"Outrageous lies" Diddy files a $50M defamation lawsuit over "false" sexual assault videos

Social media users across several platforms are still demanding the possible release of the list of celebrities who allegedly partook in Diddy's notorious parties, including Jay-Z, Lebron James, Jennifer Lopez, Leonardo Dicaprio, Beyoncé, Ashton Kutcher, Paris Hilton, Howard Stern, Russell Brand, Mariah Carey and many more.

Diddy's attorneys said that the alleged sexual assault videos shared by Burgess "were either knowingly blatant falsehoods or recklessly false statements."

The lawsuit also claims that Burgess profited from Kim Porter's memoir which allegedly also contained the videos in question. Kim Porter who died back in 2018 was also Diddy's ex-partner and the mother of four of his children.

For Mitchell, the lawsuit states that she "seized every opportunity to promote herself in the media."

It adds that she, "has insisted on valuable benefits and payments in exchange for interviews, including first class air travel, four-star hotel accommodations, hair and makeup allowances, and a materials fee" for several documents.
