Syrian singer Dima Qandalaft will be taking part in the new television drama “Al Muftah” (The Key) with director Hisham Sharbatji and to be produced by the ‘General Institute for Television and Radio Production’.
In the drama, Dima will play the role of ‘Lina’ a young girl that leaves her love in Syria due to harsh conditions that stand in the way of them getting married. She ends up marrying another man and leaves to live in the United States. Through the course of events, Lina’s husband mistreats her and she suffers numerous problems with him and then decides to leave him to return home to Syria and look for her first love.
The drama tackles different social issues like love, marriage, security and honor. It also presents different aspects of social and economic corruptions and how they are tied to the laws of the land.
