Dina Fouad fills “Afrah Iblis”

The young actress Dina Fouad just finished filming her last scenes in the latest television drama series “Afrah Iblis” (The Devils’ Celebrations).
According to the London daily Elaph, Dina filmed the last scenes with the actor Yaser Faraj and the filming lasted for two days. Dina plays the role of the daughter of a famous politician. She is a student at the American University in Cairo and because of her father position she has bodyguards to protect her, but Dina’s character is rebellious.


 The new drama series stars famous Syrian actor Jamal Suleiman, Ablah Kamel, Ahmad Saeed Abed Al Ghani and Ayten Amer. The script for the series was written by Muhammad Safa Amer. The series is directed by Sami Muhammad and will be aired on television during the upcoming Ramadan season.


 On other grounds, Dina just received an award for best rising actress at the Egyptian Cinema and the Oscar Festival “ART.”


Dina had also made the decision to return to theater in a new play called “Ostorat Al Baqa Wa Al Hob” (The Story Of Love And Wellbeing) for the poet Baha Al Deen Sultan and directed by Hamed Abu Al Sauood.


 Dina became famous as a television broadcaster on “Al Horah” satellite channel. She turned to acting when she met with the famous Egyptian actor Noor Al Sharif for half an hour at his office. The interview with Al Sharif have changed her life around, because days after the interview Al Sharif had nominated her for a role in the television drama series “Al Daly”. Dina played the role of “Hiba” the daughter of Saed Al Daly, where she was one of the new young faces, which were introduced by Al Sharif on the series.

 

After “Al Daly” Dina turned to cinema where she starred in the film “Helm AL Omer” (Life Dream) which starred Hamadeh Hilal, Tawfiq Abed Al Hamid and Hala Fakher.
 Dina will also appear in a new film this year.
