Lebanese singer, Dolly Shaheen, has found a new cause: the street children of Egypt. According the the London based Elaph, Dolly visited one of the orphanages in Cairo recently and has been trying to find a way to help ever since.
The star has now filmed new song 'Atfal Al Shawarie' (Children of the Streets) and has decided to finance the song herself so profits can be dedicated to the children in need.
The song is directed by Dolly’s husband director Bakhous Ilwan, written by Usama Mihriz and composed by Mahmoud Sadeq. Dolly revealed that the clip will be a combination of scenes of her inside recording studios and scenes of children suffering around the Arab world, including those in Syria.
