Three unlikely actresses will be sporting the Islamic Hijab this year, but they’re only doing it for roles in their upcoming TV dramas!
The first lady in question is Egyptian actress Ola Ghanem, who stars in the new drama “Quloob” (Hearts). Ola is known for her provocative and controversial roles, so this comes as a shocker for her fans.
Ola will play the role of a beautiful young woman, who despite her good looks and wealth, she isn’t approached by anyone for marriage. Doing it for all the wrong reasons and in an attempt to change her luck, she wears the Hijab to try and attract men and persuade them to marry her!
According to Laha Magazine, lady number 2 is always criticized for her totally revealing outfits and sexualized image. Yes, we’re talking about Lebanese Dolly Shahine, who will be wearing the Hijab in her upcoming film “Tharf Sihhi” (Medical Condition).
Dolly will play the role of a very poor girl who sells flowers in the streets as a means of survival. She’s forced to wear the Hijab to protect herself from being harrassed.
Last and not least is young actress Yasmine Jamal, who will be wearing the Hijab in her new film “Al Mulhed” (The Atheist). In the film, her character wears the Hijab after her parents die and she’s forced to move in with a religious man and his wife; the only way they’d let her stay is if she conforms to their strict religious rules, and one of them is to cover up.
