ALBAWABA - Another late-night TV show host has been slammed by President Donald Trump for not bowing down and giving him praise.
"Seth Meyers of NBC may be the least talented person to ever "perform" live on TV," Trump wrote on Truth Social on Saturday. "He might even be the WORST performer, live or not."
Last Thursday on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Meyers talked about a speech Donald Trump gave to U.S. Navy troops stationed off the coast of Japan. In his "A Closer Look" segment, Meyers talked about the speech, and in a section called "Seth Translates Trump to English," Meyers made fun of it.

Meyers said, "If anyone dares to say anything less than glowing, Trump loses his shit." This was in reference to the president's anger over Schumer's negative review of his trip to East Asia.
Meyers also said, "Trump thinks that saying bad things about him is treason."
Donald Trump got angry at Meyers and said that being "anti-Trump" might be against the law, which almost proved his point.

The president has criticized the 51-year-old comic before. Trump called Meyers "Marble Mouth Meyers" and "merely a slot filler for the scum that runs Comcast" in another late-night Truth Social rant in January.
In August, The president went after Meyers again. He said on Truth Social that there was "a sick rumor going around that Fake News NBC" had raised Meyers' salary. Meyers' deal was made longer in May 2024, running through 2028. Trump went on to say, "He has no ratings, talents, or intelligence, and the personality of an insecure child." He then promised to find out why the network would "extend this dope's contract."
The president has attacked other late-night shows, such as those of Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, and Jimmy Fallon. Meyers said it was "kind of nice" to be on the president's mind.
In July, Trump was happy that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the most popular late-night show, was cancelled. The cancellation came soon after Colbert called a legal deal between Trump and Paramount a "bribe."
The president was also happy that Kimmel was suspended after making statements about killing right-wing activist Charlie Kirk. After a lot of complaints, Jimmy Kimmel Live! was brought back by ABC.

Meyers talked about Trump's long, confusing speech in which he made a confusing connection between how water affects magnets and his desire for catapults powered by steam.
The president wrote that Meyers' analysis of Trump's own speech was like "on and on he went, a truly deranged lunatic."
Meyers hasn't responded to Trump's attack yet, but she did share the offensive part of the video on social media after Trump's rage.
