While Haifa Wehbe seems to delight in frequently crossing the line in her choice of wardrobe and sex scene scripts, fans of the Lebanese bombshell have made a social media campaign called “Haifa is a red line, don’t cross it."
The online movement was started after Yemeni singer Arwa made fun of Haifa and her barely there black dress that "broke the internet".
In a "comedic" segment on her show "Khalleeha Alaina" (Leave It to Us), Arwa took to the stage to impersonate Haifa's performance on Star Academy. But before she got to that, Arwa made fun of Haifa's dress, pointing out that unlike CBC, which aired the much-criticized episode, she will censor the bare parts of the singer's body.
The TV host then proceeded to show a picture of Haifa's attention-grabbing gown with the questionable parts crossed out by a black line. Then she had two of her assistants cover her own dress with a big black rectangle-shaped piece of cardboard, proving she was also censoring herself!
The Haifa-roasting episode was aired back in January, but the starlet's sensitive fans are still displeased, and thus continues the red line campaign.
Oops, hope we didn't just cross it!
