Dr. Kholod, her husband released from jail

ALBAWABA - Dr. Kholod and her husband, Amin Ghabashi, were released from jail after being held since early January.

Kuwaiti lawyer Mariam Al-Bahr announced the release of her client, fashionista Dr. Kholod, and her husband after weeks of detention, on bail of 5,000 Kuwaiti dinars.

Al-Bahr posted a video on her Instagram account in which she explained that the release procedures had been completed, and expressed her gratitude to the lawyers who cooperated with her in the case.

ET Arabic reported on jan. 5, citing some media outlets, that Dr. Kholod and her husband, Amin, would be investigated on charges of money laundering.
