Canadian rapper Drake disappointed thousands of fans in Abu Dhabi over the weekend, when he failed to make a scheduled appearance during the Grand Prix.
However, the "One Dance" singer managed to make two out of his three scheduled appearances.
What made him a no-show at the VIP Room pop-up on Yas Island on Saturday?
According to the organizer's media representative, "Due to Drake’s overwhelming popularity the sheer number of people that turned up outside of VIP Room made it completely unsafe for Drake to even enter the venue in the end so he was unable to perform."
Other global celebs who performed during the F1 after-race concerts weekend included Rihanna, Nancy Ajram, Sean Paul, Rita Ora and more.
