ALBAWABA - The Egyptian artist Wael Abdel Aziz, who is Yasmine Abdel Aziz's brother, shocked everyone by confirming that Yasmine had reconciled with her ex-husband, Ahmed Al-Awadi, following a tweet that caused speculation.
On Wednesday, he shared photos of himself and his sister on Facebook and said, "Whoever makes you happy makes me happy. What's coming is sweeter and all good. The waters will return to their normal course, and everyone will agree." He continued by saying that whatever brings you joy also brings him happiness. We pray that God will resolve our problems as well as yours.
Numerous fans have pointed out that Wael seems to be dropping hints about Yasmine and Al-Awadi's possible homecoming.
In response to a follower's question on whether or not he will return to Al-Awadi, Abdel Aziz said, "It will happen," and included a handshake emoji to show his intent.
These news broke just one day after singer Yasmine Abdel Aziz declared on "Her Excellency" that she loves her ex-husband Ahmed Al-Awadi, even though they divorced in January.
"I thought what happened before was love; no, this is not love; true love is Ahmed," she added, upset and weeping, adding that she had never felt love until her relationship with Ahmed Al-Awadi.
The question of whether Yasmine Abdel Aziz would return to him after their separation is still up in the air, but she has said that she has given God the power to decide for her.
Abdel Aziz admitted that there was a cause for the separation, but she maintained that it had nothing to do with treachery. She also said that she could not discuss the reason.
Before that, when presenting a television show, Al-Awadi said that he had only ever loved his ex-wife, Yasmine Abdel Aziz. He went on to say that they had been through a lot together, and he would never love another lady the same way.
Notably, in January of last year, the couple formally announced their separation amidst much controversy, but they chose not to disclose the reasons for the split.
The two Egyptian musicians took a bold move three months after their divorce—they stopped following each other on Instagram—at the start of April.
