Along with more than 35 theatrical troupes from various countries the new theatrical dancing troupe at the Egyptian Opera House will participate in the modern theater festival to be held in France early next month.
Upon invitation from the French Bril Jokaj Ballet Troupe, the Egyptian troupe will participate in the festival with a show entitled Sutrat al Najat Taht al Maqaad (Life Vest Under the Seat) designed and directed by the troupe manager Walid Awni, according to the daily al Ahram.
The show is about the psychological pressures which a human being faces in modern age as a result of the risks he is exposed to. It features an artistic vision on how to get rid of these psychological stresses.
The Opera house participated with this show in the theater demo festival last year. The troupe was formed in 1993 and participated in many international festivals in the Arab world and Europe -- Albawaba.com
