Prominent Egyptian singer Ehab Tawfiq held a press conference in his house to shed some light about recent circulating rumors of a dispute between him and his production company Rotana. Ehab denied any disputes between him and Rotana, adding that what happened was normal technical mistakes that were mended according to the contract between the two parties.
About his relationship with Prince Waleed Bin Talal (Rotana's Owner) Ehab said their relationship is based on mutual respect and appreciation adding that the Prince enjoys a kind of personality that is very rare and is one that makes everyone around him respect him.
Ehab revealed that Rotana is going to produce his upcoming video, and this is the best evidence that the disputes between him and Rotana are mere rumors.
Tawfiq revealed that he feels uncomfortable and embarrassed to watch the new trend of seductive songs that have taken over most of the music channels and says the best way to fight this phenomenon is by shutting TV sets off.
Ehab says that culture and knowledge are the right basis for success and not revealing body parts. Ehab added that his academic study and getting a PHD in eastern music enabled him to take the right choices in his songs.
In his opinion, Ehab says that the new short songs that depend on dancing tunes enabled people who are not talented to begin a singing career easily, but in reality despite this singers who are truly talented remain in the scenes while newcomers disappear. –Albawaba.com
