Her latest collection was called 'The Happiest One' but the first album cover showed Elissa in mourning. She is clearly a lady of contradictions so it seems fitting that one of her fans would paint her as the legendary lady of contradictions: The Mona Lisa.
The painting, entitled 'Elissa the Mona Lisa' is a mimicry of the famous one, painted by Leonardo Da Vinci in the sixteenth century, but with the Lebanese singer's face stuck on. The fan left a special letter to Elissa included with the painting from “Elias Da Vinci to Elissa in celebration of the new album”.
Elissa recently launched her latest album “As’ad Wahdah” (The Happiest One) earlier than planned after songs were leaked on the internet prior to the official release date.
