Rocket Man" Elton John has been forced to cool his jets pending a ruling in a $30 million lawsuit he brought against his former accounting firm.

A London High Court justice reserved judgment on Thursday after 43 days of hearings. The global pop star might be in for a long wait, as the justice gave no indication as to when he would render his decision in the three-month-long case.

John, the 53-year-old singer of "Candle in the Wind" (RealAudio excerpt), and countless other classics, sued PriceWaterhouseCoopers for alleged negligence in managing his estate. He also charged former affairs’ manager Andrew Haydon in the case. Both defendants deny the allegations.

Haydon's employer, John Reid, settled with the singer out of court, with John accepting a $5 million settlement from his former manager and lover.

While John awaits the decision, he will continue the latest rendition of his co-headlining Face to Face tour with Billy Joel, performing Friday in Oakland, California.
