Emily Blunt is destined for Dubai: actress joins DIFF jury

Fresh off the gondola ride from George and Amal Clooney's dream Venetian wedding last month, Hollywood actress Emily Blunt has a new destination on her travel list: Dubai! The "Arthur Newman" star will glitzing her way across the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) red carpet come December.

Emily will be on the A-list jury for the third annual IWC Filmmaker Award. Buro 24/7 tells us that, "The IWC Filmmaker Award, which launched in 2012 as a collaboration between IWC Schaffhausen and DIFF, offers a cash prize of $100,000 to help a talented filmmaker from the Middle East transfer his or her vision from script to screen."

The winning filmmaker will receive his cash, prizes, and celebrity shoulder rubbing at a star-studded gala on December 11th as part of the 11th annual festival, according to Broadcast Pro Middle East.

In addition to being besties with the Clooneys, some of Emily's other claims to fame include a Golden Globe for Best Performance in the UK series "Gideon's Daughter" and hilarious role in "The Devil Wears Prada".
